*1st day:
We went to Batu Caves, the famous Hindu temple. I was sightseeing and the statue caught my eye. It was enormous. Then, the never ending stairs, it took my guts to climb it. Even though I didn't finish it, although climbing halfway I burst into tears, I's quite glad that I took the first step. If I didn't, I wouldn't know that I was afraid of heights. Seeing elderly people climbing up and down, I was encouraged by their courage and enthusiasm.
After visiting the stairs, my dad and I went into the Ramayana Cave. Again, anxiety stroked me as I saw another 2 flight of really inclined stairs in the cave. My father wanted to witness the stalactite, so I had to push myself to climb those roller-coaster stairs. Man, for the first time in my life, I felt the love of my earthly father. Being cautious of my condition and despite of his injured finger, he willingly hold on to my back using his right palm, walking infront of him, i know that there's no better time when your dad cares for you. Of course, the condition is when your mum is not around then.
Phew, finally, the top of the mountain in the cave, we saw THIS. To my dad, it was magnificent. But to me, it's just stone. Never mind, just to keep this memory, better take a picture of it, so that i can show it to my dad 10 years later, thanking him for bringing me to see STONE.
At the end of the stone sight seeing, we had to walk back DOWN. Gosh, it almost took away half of my lifetime! At the end of the trip. One thing reminded me:
1. Going up
Dad: Jan, you go la, never mind, I'm behind you. You see, I hold you, ok? just keep on walking
2. Going down
Dad: You scared? Oh ok, erm, you walk behind me la. You don't look down on the stairs, you look down on my shoes ah. Ya, look on my shoes.
